Allahabad Museum Recruitment 2024 – Qualification details
Dy. Curator
Essential:
(i) Master’s degree in History or Archaeology or Museology or History of Art or Fine Art from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Three years working experience in a museum of repute.
Desirable:
(i) Evidence of research work supported by publications.
(ii) Experience of organizing exhibition/educational activities.
(iii) Knowledge of reading & writing any one of languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Persian, Arabic.
(iv) Knowledge of computer (MS-Office).
Technical Assistant
Essential:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Museology or Fine Arts or History or Archaeology or History of Art from a recognized university.
Desirable:
(i) P.G. Diploma in Museology/ Archaeology.
(ii) 2 years experience in guiding visitors in a Museum/Art Gallery/Cultural Institution.
(iii) Knowledge of computer (MS-Office).
LIPA
Essential:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognized university.
(ii) Acquaintance with working in a Library.
Desirable:
(i) Knowledge of computer application software in a library.
Publication Assistant
Essential:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in History or Archaeology or English of Fine Arts or Museology from a recognized University with Hindi as Optional Subject at Metric or 10+2 level.
(ii) Must have contributed article in Hindi/ English to some journals of Arts and Literature.
Desirable:
(i) Degree or Diploma in Journalism.
(ii) Experience of publication, editing or printing work in any institutions.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer word processing and type Setting.
Projectionist-Dark room Assistant
Essential:
(i) Graduate with P.G. Diploma in photography/Applied Arts.
(ii) One year experience in still photography and videography, knowledge of editing in Photoshop and other photographic software.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in a Photography of Art objects in Museum/Art Institution.
(ii) Knowledge of digital photography and computer.
Lower Division Clerk
Essential:
(i) 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/ board.
(ii) A typing speed of 35 words per minutes in English or 30 words per minutes in Hindi on computer.
Electrician
Essential:
(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.
(ii) Two years experience in running and maintaining electrical appliances of a Govt. office and building thereof.
(iii) Certificate of electrician trade from.
Carpenter
Essential:
(i) High School Pass.
(ii) Certificate in the trade of carpentry work from ITI or any institution recognized by the Govt.
Desirable:
(i) Three years experience in carpentry work in a workshop of standing repute.
Allahabad Museum Recruitment 2024 – Application Fee
Examination fee of bank draft of Rs. 250/- in case of SC/ST candidate and Rs. 500/- in case of General/OBC candidate. The payment can be made in form of a DD or bankers Cheque of nationalized banks in favour of Director, Allahabad Museum payable at Prayagraj.
