Textiles Committee Recruitment 2025 – Qualification Details
| 1. Deputy Director (Laboratory) – Essentials: First or second class Masters Degree in Physics / Chemistry with at least five years Research Experience in a related branch. Desirable: (i) Ph.D (ii) Experience with mills and understanding of how statistical methods are applied. (iii) Knowledge of French or German Language |
| 2. Assistant Director (Laboratory) – Essentials: First class or second class Master’s degree in Physics / Chemistry. Desirable : (i) Ph.D (ii) Research Experience in Textile Testing and Technology for Applicants. (iii) Knowledge of Statistics. |
| 3. Assistant Director (EP&QA) – Essentials: (i) Degree (at least high 2nd class) in Textile Manufacture / Technology (ii) At least Minimum 05 years of experience in a responsible role in the textile manufacturing industry. Desirable: (i) PG Degree in Textile Manufacture Technology. (ii) Some experience in the standardization of specification for textiles |
| 4. Statistical Officer – Essentials: (i) At least 2nd Class PG Degree in Mathematics or Statistics with some papers in statistics. (ii) At least Minimum 05 years experience of Statistical work. Desirable : (i) Computer programming Operation Knowledge on Computer Data processing. |
| 5. Quality Assurance Officer (EP&QA) – Degree/Diploma (at least second class) in Textile Manufacture / Technology from a recognized university / Textile Institute. OR Diploma (at least 2nd class) in Handloom Technology from the IIHT, Varanasi / Salem. Experience: Two years or more of experience in a responsible role in the textile manufacturing industry. |
