NITM Recruitment 2023 : National Institute of Traditional Medicine (NITM) has invites Application for recruitment to the Post of Scientist B (Medical), Scientist B (Non- Medical), Research Assistant, Laboratory Technician, Data Entry Operator, Multi-Tasking Staff in Belagavi. Eligible candidates can attend Walk-in on or before 30.10.2023
Essential Qualification/ Experience:
MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc. & AH recognized by MCI / DCI / VCI respectively OR BDS / B. V. Sc degree with one year experience
Desirable:
Two years R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification Additional research/training experience in Outbreak investigation/ Public Health/ Epidemiology / Virology/ Diagnostics/ Infectious disease Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management MD/ PhD in the related subject from a recognized university/ institute Notes: MD / MDS / M.V.Sc degree in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years’ experience.
Scientist B (Non- Medical)
Essential Qualification/ Experience:
Master’s degree in Life Sciences OR 2ndclass Master’s degree with Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences
Desirable:
Two years R & D experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification Preference will be given to candidates having experience in virology / microbiology/ molecular diagnostics / genetics related laboratory work, NABL accreditation process, outbreak investigation, knowledge of computer applications, data management and sequence/ phylogenetic/ bioinformatics analysis software’s Note: PhD degree in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years’ experience.
Desirable:
Two years’ experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in biomedical waste management and maintenance of medical laboratory equipment, or suitable experience in virology / molecular diagnostics / genetics related laboratory work, NABL accreditation process and knowledge of computer applications
Laboratory Technician
Essential Qualification/ Experience:
B. Sc. / Intermediate with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Desirable:
Two years’ experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in dealing with medical laboratory equipment, or suitable experience in virology / molecular diagnostics / genetics related laboratory work, NABL accreditation process and knowledge of computer applications.
Data Entry Operator
Essential Qualification/ Experience:
Graduate from a recognized University with knowledge of data entry work.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Computer Applications with good typing skill for data entry work. Experience in Data entry a medical diagnostic laboratory & store and inventory management. Independent communication skills in English language with knowledge of GEM& following up physical e-file notings in Government/PSU/Healthcare industry sector. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test.
Multi-Tasking Staff
Essential Qualification/ Experience:
High School / Matric / equivalent from a recognized board.
Desirable:
One – two year of experience or recommendation of working in clinical laboratories in past. Knowledge of infection control & handling of Biomedical waste. High qualification & experience more than the essential qualification in the relevant discipline will be an advantage for shortlisting.
