BHEL Eligibility Criteria
- Trade Apprentices: High School Pass + ITI (Regular Full Time) from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. For Welder trade only NCVT certificate is accepted.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: High School Pass + Full-time Diploma (passed in last 5 years) from Government recognized institute with minimum 60% marks (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS) and 50% marks (SC/ST).
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): 10+2 + Full-time Graduation in Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS) and 50% marks (SC/ST) from Government recognized Institution/University.
- Graduate Apprentice (Accountant): 10+2 + Full-time B.Com with minimum 60% marks (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS) and 50% marks (SC/ST).
- Graduate Apprentice (Assistant-HR): 10+2 + Full-time B.A with minimum 60% marks (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS) and 50% marks (SC/ST).
- Important: Only candidates who have completed full-time Diploma or Degree in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 are eligible.
Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age (UR): 27 Years
Age Relaxation:
- +5 Years for SC/ST
- +3 Years for OBC (NCL)
- PwBD: +10 Years (UR), +13 Years (OBC), +15 Years (SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules
Stipend
- Trade Apprentices – Rs.10,560/- to Rs.11,040/- per month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice – Rs.10,900/- per month
- Graduate Apprentice – Rs.12,300/- per month
