SSC Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification on 03.06.2025 at ssc.gov.in for the recruitment of 437 Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator (JT), Senior Translator (ST), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) posts on a regular basis. Eligible candidates can apply online from 05.06.2025 to 26.06.2025 for postings across India, supporting translation and administrative functions in various Central Government departments.

SSC Recruitment 2025 – Qualification Details
Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translation Officer/Junior Translator (Post Codes A–C)
Essential: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination; OR Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination, plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years’ experience in translation work. Desirable: Recognized translation diploma or experience in government offices.
Senior Hindi Translator/Senior Translator (Post Code D)
Essential: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination; OR Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination, plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or three years’ experience in translation work. Desirable: Advanced translation certification or experience in government offices.
Essential: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either as the medium of examination, plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years’ experience in translation work in Central/State Government offices.
Note: Candidates must upload scanned copies of educational certificates, translation diplomas (if applicable), and experience certificates during the online application by 26.06.2025. Originals must be presented during verification.
SSC Recruitment 2025 – Age Limit Details
JTO, JHT, JT, ST, SHT: 18–30 years (born between 02.08.1995 and 01.08.2007) as on 01.08.2025.
Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator): 18–30 years (born between 25.06.1995 and 26.06.2007) as on 01.08.2025.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years; PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years; PwBD (OBC): 13 years; Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. policy.
