For Fresher’s Category Minimum Academic/ Technical Qualification:

  • Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education

Medical Laboratory Technicians
  • Passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system of education with physics, chemistry and biology (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks)
One Year and Three Months

  • Note:

    (a) Minimum 50% marks in SSLC not applicable for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.

    (b) Candidates with higher qualification viz. Diploma/Degree, Engineering, Polytechnic & already a Course Completed Act Apprentices in Railway Establishments are NOT eligible to apply.

    (c) The candidates should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of Notification. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and candidates whose result of qualifying examination awaited are not eligible..

For EX-ITI Category Minimum Academic/ Technical Qualification:

Southern Railway Recruitment 2024 – Salary details

Apprentice Stipend will be paid as per the directions of Railway Board’s circular RBE 202/2019 dated 26.11.2019 under the directives of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Notification dated 25m September 2019.

Apprentice The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT Respectively
