Experience: Minimum 1 year in design/engineering/construction/testing & commissioning in rural electrification (RE), sub-transmission (ST), transmission lines (TLs), distribution management system (DMS), or sub-stations (S/S). Preference: PSU/listed company in power sector. Age: 29 years (as on 17.09.2025).
Field Engineer (Civil)
Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/BE (Power Engg.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University/Institute with minimum 55% marks. Discipline equivalence: Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum 1 year in design/engineering/construction/testing & commissioning in RE, ST, TLs, DMS, or S/S. Preference: PSU/listed company in power sector. Age: 29 years (as on 17.09.2025).
Field Supervisor (Electrical)
Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Technical Board/Institute with minimum 55% marks. Higher qualifications (B.Tech./BE/M.Tech./ME) not allowed. Discipline equivalence: Electrical, Power Systems Engineering, Electrical (Power), Electrical and Electronics, Power Engineering (Electrical). Experience: Minimum 1 year in construction/testing & commissioning/electrical works in RE, ST, DMS, TLs, or S/S. Preference: PSU/listed company in power sector. Age: 29 years (as on 17.09.2025).
Field Supervisor (Civil)

Higher qualifications (B.Tech./BE/M.Tech./ME) not allowed. Discipline equivalence: Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication. Experience: Minimum 1 year in design/engineering/construction/testing & commissioning/operation & maintenance of Telecommunication Systems. Age: 29 years (as on 17.09.2025).
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years, PwBD (OBC): 13 years, Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. policy.

PGCIL Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
Computer-Based Test (CBT): Common FTE Written Test-2025 with 75 multiple-choice questions (50 technical, 25 aptitude) for all posts, conducted on a single day across India. No negative marking, duration 1 hour.
Interview: For Field Engineer posts, candidates shortlisted from CBT will be called for an interview to assess suitability.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must provide original and self-attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, and ID proof during the process.
