Research Associate |
- Essential Qualification: i. Ph.D degree in Glaciology /Physical science/Earth Science/Remote Sensing/ Geo-informatics/Hydrology/Environmental Science or its equivalents or having three years of research, teaching and development experience after Master’s degree in Physical science /Earth Sciences/Remote Sensing /Geo-informatics /Hydrology /Environmental Science /M.E./M.Tech or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level. ii. At least one research paper in SCI journal.
- Desirable: i. Experience in glaciological studies using field and geospatial technology image processing/ modelling, including handling of field and lab instruments. ii. High-quality publications in SCI journals. iii. Candidates with knowledge of computer programming (Python, MATLAB, C++, Java, R, etc.).

Junior Research Fellow |
- Essential Qualification: i. Master’s degree in physics/Earth Sciences/Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Hydrology/Environmental Science or its equivalent or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level ii. Qualified in national level examinations i.e. CSIR-UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) or GATE
- Desirable: i. Knowledge of Himalayan glaciology and ability to carry out glaciological field work in high altitude regions of Himalaya. ii. Experience /ability to handle field and lab instruments/techniques/ modelling.

- Essential Qualification: i. - Desirable: i. High-level physical fitness to undertake glacier studies in Himalaya; ii. Exposure to Himalayan field studies and/or geospatial studies and image processing related to Himalaya.

- Desirable: Knowledge in numerical ocean modelling/physical oceanography data processing.

Project Consultant I (Scientific Social Responsibility) |
- Essential Qualification: i. Master’s degree in Marine Science/ Marine Biology or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in the qualifying degree level. ii.Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) qualification in Natural Science with atleast 60% marks from a recognized University
- Desirable: Two years’ teaching experience at a recognised school after the completion of B.Ed.

Project Engineer-I (Civil) |
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university or AICTE or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
- Desirable: Minimum one year’s post-qualification experience in planning & execution of construction projects and maintenance. Knowledge of AutoCAD software.

Project Engineer-I (Electrical) |
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university or AICTE or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
- Desirable: Minimum one year post-qualification experience in planning & execution of electrical projects involving power cabling, DG set, online UPS, Pump, HVAC, Split AC, fire alarm, fire-fighting system, etc and its subsequent maintenance. Knowledge of AutoCAD software.

Research Associate |
- Essential Qualification: i. Ph.D. degree (Microbiology/Marine Microbiology /Applied Microbiology/Life Science) with 60% marks in MSc (Microbiology/ Marine Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/Life Science) from recognised university. ii. Expertise in isolating & culturing microbes from environmental samples (marine, sediment, ice), molecular identification, with proven record of ability to design and execute experiments (both laboratory and field based). iii. At least 1 publications in peer-reviewed SCOPUS indexed journals. Should have a flair for writing and publishing of data.
- Desirable: i. Analytical skills for estimation of siderophores nutrients (N,P,Si), carbohydrates, proteins etc. ii. Experience in handling HPLC/LC-MS. iii. Knowledge of bioinformatics software. iv. Computer knowledge of working on WINDOWS.
