M.B.B.S. Degree from a recognized University with one year Qualification experience Plus registration with Medical Council of India Note: Mandatory Internship period will not be counted as experience. Candidates with institutional experience will be preferred.

(i)HSC/XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) + valid Registration as Nurse from Central/State Nursing Council in India or (ii) B.Sc (Nursing) or (iii)Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years experience in Hospital or Nursing Assistant Class III & above from Armed forces.
Pharmacist/B
HSC (10+2) + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months Training in pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council
Scientific Assistant/B (Radiography)
Minimum 60% in B.Sc. (Radiography) from a recognized University OR Minimum 50% in B.Sc from a recognized University with 1 year Diploma in Radiography from a recognized University/ Institution.
Scientific Assistant/B (Medical Lab Technician)
Bsc + 1 year Diploma in Medical Lab Technician (DMLT) or Bsc in Medical Lab Technician- Minimum 50% in BSC + 60% in DMLT/MLT

About IGCAR
Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) is one of India’s premier nuclear research centres. It is the second largest establishment of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), next to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), located at Kalpakkam, 80 km south of Chennai, India.[1] It was established in 1971 as an exclusive centre dedicated to the pursuit of fast reactor science and technology, due to the vision of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.[2] Originally, it was called as Reactor Research Centre (RRC). It was renamed as Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) by the then Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi in December 1985.[3] The centre is engaged in broad-based multidisciplinary programme of scientific research and advanced engineering directed towards the development of Fast Breeder Reactor technology, in India.[1]History
The fast reactor related research in India, originated at BARC, Mumbai. Later, RRC was established at Kalpakkam with the same mandate.[2] The Central Workshop, Safety Research Laboratory and Materials Sciences Laboratory were constructed in 1975–1976. Soon, the Radio-Chemistry Lab and Electronics and Instrumentation Lab were constructed.
