| Early interventionist – Special Educator – Social Worker |
M.Sc. in disability studies (early intervention) with a foundational degree in occupational therapy (BOT), speech language pathology (ASLP), physiotherapy (BPT), or MBBS/BAMs/BHMs (OR) Post Graduate Diploma in Early Intervention (PGDEI) with a foundational degree in occupational therapy (BOT), speech language pathology (ASLP), or B.Ed. special education/bachelor of mental retardation (To continue providing services within six months of joining, an early interventionist must pass an exam measuring their foundational understanding of the child development process in order to be eligible for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in optometry from any accredited Indian university.) |
