CSIR-IICB Recruitment 2025: The CSIR – Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR-IICB), Kolkata, has released a recruitment notification for 8 posts of Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen./F&A/S&P) and Junior Stenographer. The online application window is open from 28.07.2025 to 22.08.2025 at iicb.res.in. Eligible candidates with 10+2/XII or equivalent qualifications and proficiency in computer typing or stenography can apply.
Junior Secretariat Assistant: Computer typing test (English @ 35 w.p.m. or Hindi @ 30 w.p.m.). Junior Stenographer: Stenography test (English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m.). Qualifying in nature.
Written Test
Junior Secretariat Assistant: Paper I (Mental Ability Test, qualifying, 100 questions, 200 marks, 90 minutes, no negative marking); Paper II (General Awareness and English Language, 100 questions, 300 marks, 1 hour, negative marking of 1 mark per wrong answer). Junior Stenographer: Single paper (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension).

Read the official notification carefully to confirm eligibility based on educational qualifications (10+2/XII with computer typing/stenography proficiency) and age criteria.
Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link, select ‘Click here for New Registration’, and provide Name, Contact Details, and Email ID to receive a Registration ID and Password.
Log in using the credentials, verify the CAPTCHA, and fill in personal, educational, and professional details accurately, selecting the desired post.
Upload scanned copies of required documents in the prescribed format: recent passport-size photograph (20-50 KB, JPG/JPEG), signature (10-20 KB, JPG/JPEG), educational certificates, mark sheets, caste/PwBD certificate (if applicable), and experience certificates (if any).
Pay the application fee (Rs. 500 for General/OBC/EWS; Nil for Women/ST/SC/Ex-S/PwBD) via SB Collect (search for ‘Indian Institute of Chemical Biology’, select ‘APPLICATION FEE’, and retain the e-receipt).
Send a hard copy of the application form with self-attested documents and e-receipt to: Administrative Officer, CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, 4, Raja S.C. Mullick Road, Kolkata 700032 by Registered/Speed Post, to reach by 22.08.2025, 05:30 PM.
