BSF Recruitment 2025: Border Security Force (BSF) has released a notification to fill 1121 Head Constable posts (Radio Operator, Radio Mechanic) on a regular basis across India. Eligible candidates must apply online via https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/ from 24.08.2025 at 11:00 PM to 23.09.2025 at 11:59 PM. Pass in Intermediate or 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (60% aggregate in PCM) from a recognized Board/University/Institution as a regular student, OR Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and 2-year ITI Certificate in Radio and Television, Electronics Engineering, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Data Preparation and Computer Software, General Electronics Engineering, or Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute. Age: 18–25 years (as on 23.09.2025).
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)
Pass in Intermediate or 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (60% aggregate in PCM) from a recognized Board/University/Institution as a regular student, OR Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and 2-year ITI Certificate in Radio and Television, General Electronics, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Data Preparation and Computer Software, Electrician, Fitter, Information Technology and Electronics System Maintenance, Communication Equipment Maintenance, Computer Hardware, Network Technician, Mechatronics, or Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute. Age: 18–25 years (as on 23.09.2025).
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years, PwBD (OBC): 13 years, Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. policy.
Note: Candidates must submit self-attested copies of educational certificates (12th Marksheet or Matriculation + ITI Certificate), ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar, voter ID), recent passport-size photograph, and Community Certificate (OBC/SC/ST if applicable) during document verification.

BSF Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
First Phase – PST & PET: Physical Standard Test (height, chest, weight) and Physical Efficiency Test (running, jumping, etc.) to assess physical fitness.
Second Phase – Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type test assessing technical knowledge, general awareness, and aptitude.
Third Phase – Document Verification & Detailed Medical Examination: Verification of educational certificates, ID proof, and medical fitness as per BSF standards.
