Educational Qualification
- Fireman (Male):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
- Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances.
- Must be familiar with the use and fire fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire.
- Leading Fireman (Male):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
- Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings, fire appliances, fire engines, trailers, pumps and foam branches.
- Must be capable of training, guiding and controlling the working of a shift and taking independent charge of a shift.
- Fire Engine Driver (Male):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
- Should be proficient in trade work.
- Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of a valid driving licence.
- Preferably certified by a reputed institution after having attended a fireman course.
- Librarian (Male):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board.
- Should be proficient in trade.

- Leading Fireman (Male) – 18 to 25 years
