IDFC FIRST Bank SDET – Job Purpose
A Quality Analyst with a focus on Automation and Manual Testing is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products across web, mobile, and API platforms. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing test plans, both manually and through automated testing tools, to identify and address defects. The SDET will also be proficient in database testing, ensuring the integrity and reliability of data interactions within the system.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans & detailed test cases for Web, Mobile, API and Database testing
- Design, develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, etc.
- Execute manual test cases – functional, regression, performance and exploratory testing
- Perform end-to-end testing of web/mobile apps and validate API functionality
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
- Write complex SQL queries for database testing and data validation
- Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies
- Maintain test documentation, defect reports and quality metrics
