Tier I – Preliminary Examination
Online Objective Test covering Reasoning, English Language, and Numerical Ability; 200 questions, 250 marks, 2 hours duration.
Tier II – Main Examination
Online Objective Test covering Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, and Computer Knowledge; includes a descriptive component for language and writing skills.
Regional Language Test
Mandatory test to assess proficiency in the regional language of the state of recruitment; qualifying in nature.
OICL Assistant Recruitment 2025 – Exam Centers in Tamil Nadu
Visit the official OICL website orientalinsurance.org.in and navigate to the ‘Careers’ section to find the notification (No. OICL/Rect./2025) and online application link.
Read the official notification carefully to confirm eligibility based on educational qualifications (Graduation or HSC with 60% marks, 50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) and age criteria (21-30 years).
Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link, select ‘Click here for New Registration’, and provide Name, Contact Details, and Email ID to receive a Registration ID and Password.
Log in using the credentials, verify the CAPTCHA, and fill in personal, educational, and professional details accurately, selecting the Assistant post.
Upload scanned copies of required documents in the prescribed format: recent passport-size photograph (20-50 KB, JPG/JPEG), signature (10-20 KB, JPG/JPEG), educational certificates, mark sheets, caste/PwBD certificate (if applicable), and ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN).
Pay the application fee online (Rs. 850 for General/OBC/EWS; Rs. 100 for ST/SC/Ex-S/PwBD) using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI Challan.
Review the application in the ‘Preview’ section, make corrections if needed, and click ‘Final Submit’.
